Mark Hill MIDE AaPS founded D360 Consulting Engineers in 2023, bringing over 30 years of experience in the global engineering industry. Throughout his career, Mark has worked with some of the world’s largest and most respected clients across the oil and gas, chemicals, energy, and industrial sectors.

Having delivered high-risk projects across the UK, Europe, and the USA, Mark has consistently ensured projects are completed on time and on budget, with safety as a core priority. His extensive expertise and commitment to excellence led him to establish D360, creating a consultancy focused on providing more effective, client-centred engineering solutions across all sectors.

Durham Brown is a Graduate Engineer at D360, having achieved a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Edinburgh.

Durham primarily handles drawings, creates 3D models, and surveys sites, supporting clients on high‑hazard industrial decommissioning projects. As a key member of the team, he consistently brings inquisitiveness and creative, out‑of‑the‑box thinking to every project, helping D360 deliver innovative and effective engineering solutions.

Charles Dent has over 35 years of experience in the decommissioning and demolition industry and extensive expertise in high-hazard sectors, including Nuclear, Pharmaceutical, and Offshore Oil & Gas.

A member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Charles focuses on project management, delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects to strict cost, quality, and schedule requirements while maintaining an excellent health and safety record. He is experienced across all stages of contract management, from initial specification and strategy through delivery and close-out, and specialises in safety and risk management, conducting HAZOP, RCM, and FMEA studies and translating plant safety risk assessments into practical engineering and operational safety measures.

Grant Donaldson is a Project Engineer at D360, and has over 25 years of extensive experience in the construction industry. Throughout his career, Grant has successfully managed and delivered complex projects across Europe, including the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, and Denmark. His expertise spans project planning, execution, and cross-border collaboration, with a strong focus on efficiency, quality, and innovation.

Allison has a multifaceted pivotal role in ensuring that D360’s people, processes, and culture align with both strategic objectives and employee needs.

With over 25 years’ experience working across the UK and the USA, Allison also has her own HR consultancy business providing innovative solutions for talent attraction, coaching, and mentoring. At D360 Allison’s responsibilities span strategic planning to ensure HR and support processes scale with the business, designing and delivering high-quality training and development programs, managing recruitment and employee engagement, and creating competitive reward and benefit offerings. She oversees day-to-day HR operations, as well as marketing and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) to support sustainable business growth.

Kirstie Malcolm is a Project Administrator at D360, having joined the team in November 2025. She brings a diverse professional background, with experience spanning Early Years education settings, a 20-year career in the Financial Services industry, and more recently, the Energy sector. Kirstie combines strong organisational and administrative skills with a broad understanding of project workflows across multiple industries, ensuring smooth operations and effective support for project teams. Her adaptability and attention to detail make her a key contributor to D360’s ongoing success.

Ajay Soni is a highly experienced Project Engineer with over 20 years of expertise in the oil & gas industry. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Polymer and Chemical Engineering from Delhi University and is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), reflecting his strong commitment to professional standards and continuous development.

Having moved to Scotland 20 years ago, Ajay has built a distinguished career spanning both Project Engineering and Project Management. He has a proven ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects while maintaining a clear focus on quality, safety, and delivery. Ajay plays a key leadership role in guiding engineering teams to successfully deliver detailed design phases of complex projects, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with client objectives.

Kevin Smith is a Project Manager at D360 with a strong foundation in process operations and engineering within the energy sector. He began his career with Petroineos and has a deep understanding of plant operations, safety, and performance in complex industrial environments.

Kevin holds a BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences and has achieved the NEBOSH General Certificate, demonstrating his commitment to health and safety excellence. He is also PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certified in Project Management, equipping him with structured methodologies to successfully plan and deliver projects.

Jack Wilson is a Project Engineer at D360 with over 10 years of experience in turnaround execution, operational leadership, and project delivery within top-tier COMAH environments. He has built a strong reputation for delivering complex projects safely and efficiently in high-risk, highly regulated process settings.

Jack has a proven track record in managing intricate decommissioning and infrastructure projects, ensuring full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, and his hands-on operational leadership, combined with a structured approach to planning and execution, enables him to drive successful outcomes across demanding process units.

John Wilson is a highly experienced Mechanical Project Engineer with over 30 years of proven performance across nuclear, petrochemical, and other high-risk industrial environments.

For 25 years, John worked as a steeplejack, leading complex access and structural works across major industrial facilities worldwide, including desalination and petrochemical plants in the Middle East, Kuwait and the UAE; mast and pylon works on the Rock of Gibraltar; petrochemical plants and refineries in Norway; power stations in Ireland and Northern Ireland; oil refineries in Singapore; and numerous coal-fired power stations throughout the UK.
